The thing i like the best being in year 8 is probably not being the youngest lol cause wen ur in year 7 you feel scared and small hehe but not in year 8 . Well about getting the blame well our year 8 does becuz there are sum well naughty kids thaa get in trouble all tha time and its not fair becuz they stop us from learning and i keep thinking im stuck with them now lol but its ok i get used to it they are quite nice children still !! . ive saw some people from rood end here and they seem to like it like scott and morgan lots more to there waz more year 6 cumin to bristnall than wen i left that year . Is Rood end doing anything around christmas ?? and who is this replying ?? lol i dont even no who im talk to .. my i have wrote a lot! hehe . got none uniform tomorrow at school becuz of children in need . tomorrows lessons are ..... p.e ( FIRRSTTT LESSON MAN!! hi miss oboyle u were a gr8 teacher and in alex am in one of the top sets 7A3! we have a laugh in our set because i have made some new mates and they are SAFE,
also the only person from glebefields in my set is leanne paskin. there is this boy in my set called liam tyson and he is sooooo funny, he makes everyone laugh. and in my register group there is bryan pearce and ross arnold it is so cool!!!

Today ma mate was jokin about rite (a boy he dos me ed in) n i told the teacher jokin about n she sed hit im bk so we was chaasi eachova round the class. Hi good site like it so far i am so sad to be leavin glebes cause i can not do my singing infact i don't really want to carry on with it anyway how are u doin Mrs O'boyle i hope u r ok. I am glad of my sats results 2 5s and a 4. i do hope i see u again why do u have to leave prim sch. Can't wait till alex now but this year has gone so fast i was only just getting used to miss bodin and miss pearce. My mom and dad sez thanks and they wish u all the luk at your new sch. We have named her ruby and she is so cute and tiny. She crys a lot but never wakes me up in the midle of thr night well she sometimes does. I feed her change her hold her all the time and things like that. I love her tio bits and me and my mom are talking bout spoiling her in the futuer taking her shopping and everywhere. I never had no 1 to take me anywhere well except for my mom and dad of course. I am goiung on holiday the ast 2 weeks of the 6 weeks holiday to brean. I love down there it is so cool.Wish u were back at our school i miss u so much i am lost with out u

I was at Rood End between September 1951, and October 1956. Miss Grice was the Headmistress of the Infants and Mr Reynolds was Headmaster of the Juniors. I remember Miss Colclough, (she was there when my father was a pupil there, around 1925-27). Now I'm a mature student at university, reading IT/Media Studies.

I was at the school 1940-1945 and remember that Mr Key was headmaster. Teachers were Miss French, Ballard, Nash, Edwards, Ball, Carclough. Would appreciate any information on Miss Nash who taught the penultimate year.

Hi, I started infant school at Rood End in 1967 age 4 and can still remember it clearly. We were very lucky to attend Rood End and I had a lovely time there. I have fond memories of Mr Field who was my form teacher and taught both me and my brother and sisters. Sounds as though everyone still enjoys being there!
